How long/often can my baby sleep in the DayDreamer Sleeper?

The DayDreamer Sleeper can be used for any sleeping regimens, daytime or overnight. However, we recommend that you consult with your pediatrician if you’re planning to use it for long periods of time.

Why can’t I place my DayDreamer Sleeper in the crib, play yard, or bassinet?

Infants can move to the side of the DayDreamer Sleeper and become entrapped between the DayDreamer Sleeper and the crib, which may lead to suffocation. This could happen even if the infant is secured to the harness. The DayDreamer Sleeper should never be used near an adjacent wall or dresser, in a crib, or a bassinet.

Can the DayDreamer Sleeper be placed in the crib for nighttime sleeping?

For safety reasons, this product should never be used inside the crib, bassinet, or playard. The DayDreamer Sleeper should only be used on the floor. The American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as the Consumer Product Safety Commission, recommends nothing be placed in the crib other than the baby.

What are the weight and size restrictions on DayDreamer Sleeper?

The DayDreamer is ideal for helping babies sleep, but we also want them to be safe. For this reason, we recommend the DayDreamer be used for nap time sleep, overnight sleep, feeding and playtime for infants that are 5 pounds or above, as long as they fit comfortably and have adequate head and torso space. It is recommended to stop using this product when the infant begins to roll over or can pull up on sides, whichever comes first.

Where can the DayDreamer Sleeper be used?

The DayDreamer Sleeper should only be used on the floor. The DayDreamer Sleeper should never be used in a crib, playard, or bassinet. The DayDreamer Sleeper should also never be used on an elevated service, nor soft surfaces like a pillow, bed, or cushion. Consumers should always secure the three point harness snugly around baby.

How do I know that I’m using the DayDreamer Sleeper properly?

The DayDreamer Sleeper was designed for use on a hard, flat surface, ideally, the floor or ground. Baby should be supervised at all times while using the DayDreamer Sleeper and should also be secured snugly in the three-point harness.
